Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 13, 2025

Welcome to Builder’s Fireplace Company. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline the conditions under which we provide our products and services. By placing an order, scheduling a service, or otherwise engaging with us, you agree to these Terms.


1. Payment Terms

Approved Contractors

  • Net 30 days from the date of invoice.

All Other Customers

  • 50% deposit required before products are ordered and work begins.

  • Remaining 50% due at rough-in completion, prior to the final visit.

  • Payment in full at the start of the project is also acceptable.

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Cash

  • Check

  • Credit card (3% service charge applies)

  • ACH bank transfer (1% service charge applies)


2. Scheduling & Completion
  • Start dates depend on product availability and scheduling.

  • We may reschedule due to weather, product delays, or other unforeseen events.


3. Customer/Builder Responsibilities
  • Ensure the installation site is ready and accessible at the scheduled time.

  • Delays caused by inaccessibility or site issues may result in rescheduling and/or added charges.


4. Cancellations & Refunds
  • Orders canceled before product ordering may be eligible for a full refund, minus administrative fees.

  • Once non-custom products have been ordered, cancellations may incur restocking fees, shipping costs, or be subject to manufacturer return policies.

  • Once an order for custom products has been placed, it cannot be canceled.

5. Warranties & Disclaimers
  • Manufacturer warranties apply to all products sold.

  • No additional warranties, express or implied, are offered behind the manufacturer’s coverage.

  • We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper maintenance, or third-party alterations.


6. Changes of Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be posted here with an updated effective date.
